Thank you to our donors for your generous auction donations! Our Annual Auction is a success because of YOUR exciting and wonderfully creative auction donations!

Join us for our 2023 Auction: Fall Fest

Our Annual fundraising auction is where our entire congregation comes to celebrate, meet old friends and new, and fill their social calendars with exquisite services and special events throughout the year, while raising important funds for our operating budget. Our theme this year is Fall Fest! Join us to bid on hundreds of exciting items, enjoy live music, fall treats, beverages, dancing, wine raffles, and spin our Wheel of Fortune! Wear a costume to celebrate Halloween.

We will open with online-only bidding Wednesday, October 18, featuring lots of fixed-price items, services, and events. On Friday, October 20, the online portion of the auction will close as we prepare for the in-person event! And on Saturday, October 21 we’ll reopen bidding in the USSB courtyard with a silent auction featuring new items and events for sale in person. This event will include food, music, raffle items, and more. We hope you’ll join us!

Auction FAQs

What if I can’t afford to bid on any items?

The Auction is free to attend! It’s fun. It’s social. It’s our biggest event of the year. Please come—it won’t be a party without you! We have a diversity of discretionary income in our congregation, and the auction is for everyone. You’ll find a wide variety of inexpensive events, including many affordable fixed-price items.

What are “affordable fixed-price items”?

Listed in the back of this brochure, and noted on the BLUE bid sheets on auction night, are a number of items, each with an affordable fixed price. You will not need to bid against others. Sign up and go. You will not be bumped by a higher bid.

Do I need to wear a costume?

Please dress up as much as you like. The theme offers a wide variety of options to dress up, but anything you want to wear is fine as long as you avoid blood, weapons, or full face (non-COVID) masks. Thank you for not being too scary as we want to make this a family-friendly event.

May I bring guests?

Please do! What a festive way to introduce your friends to our congregation.

What if I can’t attend the auction?

We are offering a pre-auction bidding week that is 100% online. Many fixed-price items will be available during online bidding. Go to www.auctria.com/auction/ussb2023 and bid from October 18-20. And, you can still bid on items at the in-person auction by registering online and sending a friend to do the in-person bidding for you! Let them know what item(s) you want to bid on and the maximum amount you are willing to pay and we’ll charge it to you. Be sure to register online in advance!

How does childcare work?

Children of all ages are welcome at the auction while they remain under the direct supervision of their parents.

  • Free childcare is provided for children 1 to 12 years old on auction night, from 1:30 to 6:00 pm.
  • Parents, please do not send your children to childcare without an adult to sign them in! All children need to be escorted by an adult across campus at all times, for their safety. This is especially important if your children will attend a portion of the auction with you.
  • Childcare for the evening will include free pizza and age-appropriate activities and games.
