Our Annual fundraising auction is where our entire community comes to celebrate, meet old friends and new, and fill their social calendars with exquisite services and special events throughout the year, while raising important funds for our operating budget.
We encourage everyone to bring a friend! The auction is a joyous way to get to know our community and there are plenty of not-yet-member friendly items for the bidding!
So bring a friend and join us to bid on exciting items, enjoy live music, food, beverages, dancing, wine raffles, and spin our Wheel of Fortune! Surf-wear and themed costumes encouraged!
Online & In-Person Bidding – Over 180 Items To Bid on in our Catalog!
Catalog: Our Auction catalog showcases all items available for bid whether available online or at our Auction night event. You’ll want to check it out because the 2024 catalog has to be one of the best yet! With 180+ exciting items including Parties & Events, Local Gift Certificates, Outings, Services, Food & Handmade Items, and Fine Art, there is something for everyone.

- Online Bidding 10/13 5PM – 10/18 12:00PM: We will open up with a week of online bidding where a limited number of fixed-price items will be available at a “Buy It Now” price. The remainder of our other 130 biddable items will open up at the in-person event on the 19th! All online bidding will happen at our auction website: https://auctria.com/auction/USSB2024
- In-Person Bidding 10/19: In-person bidding at our auction event will then open up the full slate of 180 items to bid on – “bid-up” or competitive bid items will allow a little friendly competition for some coveted Auction items on event night!

Get Ready for the Event of the Year! – Saturday, October 19th
- 4:00 PM – Doors Open
- 5:00 – 7:00 PM – Bidding
- 7:00 – 8:00 PM – Dancing
Music & Dancing!
This year our Auction Team brings you two superb bands for your listening (and dancing!) pleasure. The Groovin’ Hoodlums will open up the night playing surf music to kick the party off right, and ten piece band, The Soulcats, will get us dancing with 60’s and 70’s music to shake to!
Family Fun
Families are encouraged to join in the celebration! There are plenty of family-friendly auction items available in our catalog, and kids are encouraged to dance along or BOUNCE in our bounce house! Free childcare provided by USSB childcare staff.
Food & Drink
A light dinner and refreshments will be served on Auction night. Food provided by USSB partner, Freedom4Youth and seasoned bartenders will sling your beer, wine, or N/A beverage of choice.
Surf-Wear Encouraged
In the tradition of our Annual Auction, we encourage folks to dress theme-appropriate! Costumes are not required, but this year’s theme offers a wide variety of options for dressing (think Hawaiian shirts, board shorts, and flip flops!). Thank you in advance for keeping your costumes family-friendly.
