SB Craftivist for Change Alliance

We are pleased to present this inspiring story of friends on a walk who were not happy with the 2016 Presidential election and decided to work for change with their activist roots, The Activists that became SB Craftivists For Change.

It took awhile but the seeds were planted. Today a group of 60-70 women (men are welcome, too!) meet once a week to use their skills of knitting, writing, crocheting, and much, much more to help those in need in Santa Barbara and around the world. Come to find out the development of this great story. We will profile Rose Santillano-Millem one of the original walkers who holds this group together.–Sylvia Abualy, Chair Program Committee

The Alliance meets on the first Friday of the month at 2pm from October – June.
