The “Blessing of the Animals” is a beloved tradition in many congregations, and we are going to bring it here to USSB. What does this mean? Bring your animal friends to church! Yes, really! Bring your actual pet – on leash, in a carrier, or bring a photo/token in their place – and we will bless the ways they bring love (and a little joyful chaos) into our lives. 

There will be lots more information to come about how we can make this service fun, safe, and inclusive for all our friends – human and otherwise. Note: You don’t have to have an animal chaperone to participate – there will be a “humans only” section, too!
