If you have ever tried to recruit volunteers to serve, there is a good chance you said something like “You will feel good when you do it!” You said that because it’s true. We do in fact feel good when we help others. But why?

Join us this Sunday as we explore the joy of service by focusing on the work of the wonderful nonprofit Freedom 4 Youth (F4Y), that works to uplift and empower youth impacted by the justice system throughout Santa Barbara County through advocacy, community, and mentorship. You’ll hear from F4Y’s Executive Director Billi Jo Starr, PhD, as well as the youths themselves.
